Job Summary: The Tanker Truck Driver is responsible for covering local Dayton area routes
and will be home each night. This position is eligible for overtime (OT) pay. The Tanker Truck Driver acts as
a representative of CWE by performing materials pick-ups from customer locations and assisting the customer in

CWE currently has a new stream of waste – Disposal of recalled airbags which contain ammonium nitrate as the propellant must be sent
to a hazardous waste permitted facility (permitted under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, RCRA).
CWE treats diverse streams of liquid materials that come to us from chemical plants, refineries, landfills,
and manufacturing facilities. Some examples of materials we can service are: Machine coolants and process
waters; Combustible and flammable waters (hazardous or exempt); Caustics and Acids; Heavy metals laden
waters; and Waters containing alcohols, glycols, oils, fuels, resins and other organics. CWE does not work
with municipality wastewater.
Job Summary: The Lab Manager is responsible for organizing and directing the daily
activities in the laboratory with minimum supervision and a complete understanding of the systems involved.
This position is considered a working supervisor.
Essential Functions: Criteria is set forth by CWE. Responsibilities also include but are
not limited to the following:
Create SOPs for laboratory procedure
Develop training programs and ensure involved personnel are trained
Collaborate with various departments to identify, troubleshoot and resolve any issues to ensure on-time
delivery to the customer
Coordinate both planned and emergency troubleshooting repairs
Enforce all Health and Safety rules and regulations, as well as strict adherence to SOPs and GMPs
Ensure that lab personnel have a safe and efficient work environment
Ensure all test and measurement systems are operating within set parameters
Keep management apprised of any condition that may impact production schedules
Maintain laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards; developing operation,
quality, and troubleshooting procedures; and ensure staff compliance
Maintain/Operate compressed gases through compliance with federal and state requirements
Manage spare part inventory
Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff by communicating job expectations and planning,
monitoring, and appraising job results
Monitor, measure and report on production related issues
Implement new programs, analytical methods, instruments and/or work procedures through industry
researches
Initiate, coordinate and enforce systems, policies, and procedures in laboratories
Participate in meetings with staff, management and/or customers to address any concerns related to the
Laboratory
Perform additional duties as assigned
Oversee company’s wastewater program and permits issued by the County Water District
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of
department and services performed

Work Environment: Laboratory setting with exposure to hazardous materials. Occasional
facility work required where there is potential for noise, dust, rain, hot and cold temperatures. Climbing,
walking and lifting will be normal daily requirements. CWE prioritizes a positive, collaborative workplace

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be
able climb (limited climbing). Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
