Many of our Associates and Drivers have made working with Clean Water Environmental their life’s career. Several have spent more than 35 years with the company. We focus on local sourcing of personnel and train our crews to meet continually evolving haz-mat, safety and security regulations.
John Staton
Chief Executive Officer
John is well-known in the industry, as he has been involved for over 40 years in various capacities and with multiple organizations. He brings decades of knowledge for regulations, processes and technology to the Clean Water Environmental organization and customer base.
John has been the CEO of Clean Water Environmental since September of 2017. Prior to taking the helm, John held key executive positions with waste treatment organizations such as Eureka Resources, Water State and Schrieber, Yonley & Associates. John is not a new face to Clean Water Environmental as he worked for the organization while it was under previous ownership as head of operations. John’s leadership is focused on customer processes, service excellence and ensuring technological advancements for waste treatment.
John enjoys spending time with his family and boating with his wife.
Joyce Rivers
Controller
Joyce Rivers has an extensive accounting background, including tenure with companies such as UCR, LLC, Clean Water, Ltd., Perma-Fix of Dayton, Corbus, LLC and more. As Controller for Clean Water Environmental, LLC, she is responsible for the overall accounting operations of the company. These include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with the necessary accounting principles.
Joyce approaches every day with the customer in mind and always takes time to lead and mentor the people with whom she loves to work.
Joyce has a Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University. She enjoys traveling through the United States by RV, and has visited 42 of the 50 states so far. She lives in Ohio, where she is raising her two grandchildren.
Mitch George
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
With over 18 years experience in the environmental services industry, Mitch has had the privilege to cover many disciplines from used oil recycling to hazardous waste landfill and hazardous waste logistics throughout his career. His professional history includes tenure with companies such as Envirosafe, Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Select Transportation, and Pollution Control, Inc. He is passionate about minimizing waste through efficient practices, assisting with creative regulatory interpretation and most of all, customer service excellence.
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Clean Water Environmental LLC, Mitch is responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. By developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, he supports the achievement of company goals. He is also instrumental in cultivating a service-oriented and positive internal culture at Clean Water, and for the evolution of the company’s corporate mission, vision and brand identity.
Mitch attended both The Ohio State University and Wright State University with emphasis in Natural Resources and Industrial Health. He is a life-long expert horticulturalist who has owned and operated an enthusiast level plant shop. He lives in Ohio and is a father to three children.
Mike Current
Operations Manager
Mike has made his career with Clean Water Environmental for 27 years. Today, he heads production activities for two Clean Water treatment facilities and hazardous waste permitted areas.
As Operations Manager, Mike uses his deep experience to solve customers’ waste stream challenges and ensure all aspects of the facilities run smoothly. He takes pride in the fact that his work eases burdens for his customers and contributes to a cleaner environment.
Mike served in the U.S. Army in the 13 Bravo Artillery Company in Piqua, Ohio. He has two children with his wife of 24 years, and is an expert outdoorsman with hunting property in Southern Ohio.
Jarrod Carroll
Plant Manager
Jarrod’s environmental services career began as a waste handler for a residential garbage disposal company, a job he performed while attending college at night. Since then, he has spent over a decade with Clean Water.
Today, as a Plant Manager, Jarrod is responsible for overseeing daily operations at Clean Water Environmental’s Mansfield facility. He and his team maintain plant efficiencies and help develop new capabilities to yield benefits for Clean Water customers.
Jarrod is the proud father of a new baby girl named Kember.
Angela Redinbaugh
Customer Service Representative
Angela has a long career providing friendly and courteous customer service to people in Dayton, Ohio. Angela helped run her family’s grocery business, brokered drivers for JEG Trucking, and also worked for Home Depot.
Angela’s customer service duties at Clean Water Environmental include billing, accounts receivable, and waste profiling. As a people person, Angela has enjoyed the past ten years partnering with Clean Water Environmental customers and co-workers alike.
Angela loves to spend time with her husband, two children, and golden retriever. She is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Dayton Dragons baseballs teams.
Kyle George
Maintenance Manager
Kyle’s career has involved mechanical systems of all kinds. His hands-on experience includes big-rig mechanics and rebuilding totaled semi trailer-trucks.
As Clean Water Environmental’s Maintenance Manager, Kyle identifies equipment issues and owns corrective actions. He continues to master new systems as Clean Water evolves its equipment and facilities to meet and exceed customers’ waste processing needs.
Kyle is married and has two daughters.
