GIVING THANKS AND GIVING BACK

You know us as Clean Water Environmental, the western Ohio company that offers full-spectrum handling, treatment, and disposal (or recycling if appropriate) of wastewater, hazardous waste, airbags, and oil.

During this holiday season, we’d like to talk about some of the things we’re thankful for, and how we choose to give back to our communities.

We’re grateful for our dedicated employees. Across our team we have decades of experience and a passion for using technology to create smarter solutions for waste. Our team members allow us to think outside the box, continually innovate, and provide exemplary customer service. It’s our enthusiastic and competent team members who allow our company to grow and thrive.

We’re grateful that we wake up every day and do a job that makes a difference in the world. Why? Because we love the environment too, and that infuses every job our teams tackle on a daily basis. Like you, we’re hikers, hunters, dog walkers, and gardeners with kids and grandkids who play and swim in the great outdoors. We strive to give customers peace of mind that projects are managed efficiently and expertly, and the result is a cleaner world for everyone to enjoy.

We’re grateful to be a successful Buckeye-State company, and we support other local Ohio companies and Ohioans whenever possible. Our new fleet of leased trucks are Kenworth, built in Chillicothe, Ohio. We’re proud sponsors of the Montgomery County Agricultural Society, which celebrates and supports our area’s agricultural heritage. Our team is growing, and we love to hire Ohio talent. Check out our current job opportunities to see if the time is right for you or a family member or friend to join our team.

We’ve been open for business in central Ohio for more than a quarter century and we love to give back to the communities in which we operate. Our logistics and transportation expertise allow us to respond quickly to natural disasters and help local aid organizations provide disaster relief. After the May 2019 tornado hit the Dayton area, we helped the American Red Cross transport dry ice, supplies, and care packages to those in need

Helping prepare the next generation of American workers with applicable, appropriate skills is a passion of ours. Each summer we partner with YouthWorks of Montgomery County to hire teenage students eager to gain job readiness skills and work experience. The students and their responsibilities change from summer to summer, but the outcome is the same: a group of teenagers with a stronger appreciation for hard work and the skills that will help them succeed in a competitive world.

We’re profoundly grateful to our Veterans for their service and sacrifice. To be sure that we’re recruiting available vets in our area for job opportunities at our company, we work with our local Vet Center on an ongoing basis. We currently have Veterans from many branches of the armed forces as team members in our Airbag Recycling department, Wastewater/Oil Treatment department, Transportation Services department, and Janitorial Services department.

Stay tuned for more stories about our community outreach in 2020. We’re always looking for new ways to pay it forward, so if you have ideas about how we can help your community in the new year, please share them with us via this form (https://cleanwaterenv.com/contact/).

As a successful 2019 draws to a close, we’d like to thank our employees for their dedication, our customers and partners for their business, and our community for their support. We wish you and yours a joyous and safe holiday season, and the very best in 2020.
